Friday's ETF with Unusual Volume: IAT
ETF Channel Staff - Friday, January 11, 12:05 PMThe iShares Dow Jones U.S. Regional Banks Index Fund ETF (IAT) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 409,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 72,000. Shares of IAT were off about 1.2% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Friday were Regions Financial (RF), trading off about 2% with over 6.1 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Keycorp (KEY), down about 1.3% on volume of over 2.6 million shares. Prosperity Bancshares (PB) is the component faring the best Friday, higher by about 0.2% on the day, while Cathay General Bancorp (CATY) is lagging other components of the iShares Dow Jones U.S. Regional Banks Index Fund ETF, trading lower by about 2.5%.
