Friday's ETF Movers: KWT, SIL
ETF Channel Staff - Friday, January 4, 11:53 AMIn trading on Friday, the Solar Energy ETF (KWT) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 1.9% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Ldk Solar Limited (LDK), up about 3.6% and shares of Suntech Power Holdings Limited EA (STP), up about 3.3% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the Silver Miners ETF (SIL), off about 2.5% in Friday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Friday were shares of Minco Silver J (MSV.CA), lower by about 6.3%, and shares of US Silver & Gold J (USA.CA), lower by about 5.1% on the day.
