Friday's ETF Movers: AXUT, GDX
ETF Channel Staff - Friday, January 25, 12:49 PMIn trading on Friday, the iShares MSCI ACWI ex US Utilities Sector Index Fund ETF (AXUT) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2.6% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Companhia Energetica DE Mina (CIG), up about 0.2% and shares of Korea Electric Power (KEP), up about 0.2% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the Gold Miners ETF (GDX), off about 2.3% in Friday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Friday were shares of Eldorado Gold (EGO), lower by about 4.6%, and shares of Kinross Gold (KGC), lower by about 4.6% on the day.
