VEA, IYJ: Big ETF Inflows
ETF Channel Staff - Monday, December 17, 2:07 PMLooking today at week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest inflow was seen in the Vanguard MSCI EAFE ETF (VEA), which added 6,000,000 shares, or a 2.0% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of VEA, in morning trading today Nestle S A (NSRGY) is trading flat, and Hsbc Holdings Plc (HBC) is lower by about 0.2%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest increase in inflows was the iShares Dow Jones U.S. Industrial Sector Index Fund (IYJ), which added 4,550,000 shares, for a whopping 83.5% increase in outstanding shares. Among the largest underlying components of IYJ, in morning trading today General Electric Company (GE) is up about 0.7%, and United Tech Corporation (UTX) is up by about 0.1%.
