EEM, UGEM: Big ETF Inflows
ETF Channel Staff - Wednesday, December 19, 12:20 PMLooking today at week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest inflow was seen in the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Index Fund (EEM), which added 58,050,000 shares, or a 5.7% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of EEM, in morning trading today Bancolombia S A (CIB) is off about 0.1%, and Credicorp Ltd (BAP) is up by about 0.8%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest increase in inflows was the Utilities GEMS ETF (UGEM), which added 100,000 shares, for a whopping 100.0% increase in outstanding shares. Among the largest underlying components of UGEM, in morning trading today Ultrapar Particpacoes SA (UGP) is up about 0.6%, and Companhia Energetica DE Mina (CIG) is up by about 1.7%.
