Tuesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: VIS
ETF Channel Staff - Tuesday, November 13, 12:40 PMThe Vanguard Industrials ETF (VIS) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 128,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 36,000. Shares of VIS were up about 0.2% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were General Electric (GE), trading off about 0.4% with over 9.4 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Delta Air Lines (DAL), up about 0.6% on volume of over 1.8 million shares. Greenbrier Companies (GBX) is the component faring the best Tuesday, higher by about 16% on the day, while Aecom Tech (ACM) is lagging other components of the Vanguard Industrials ETF, trading lower by about 11.2%.
