EEM, LGEM: Big ETF Inflows
ETF Channel Staff - Friday, November 23, 1:00 PMLooking today at week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest inflow was seen in the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Index Fund (EEM), which added 9,450,000 shares, or a 1.0% increase week over week.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest increase in inflows was the Basic Materials GEMS ETF (LGEM), which added 150,000 shares, for a whopping 150.0% increase in outstanding shares. Among the largest underlying components of LGEM, in morning trading today Yanzhou Coal Mining Company Ltd (YZC) is up about 4.7%, and Aluminum Corporation China Ltd (ACH) is higher by about 1.5%.
