XLV, SSO: Big ETF Inflows
ETF Channel Staff - Monday, October 8, 12:13 PMLooking today at week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest inflow was seen in the Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLV), which added 7,900,000 shares, or a 6.3% increase week over week.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest increase in inflows was the Proshares Ultra S&P500 (SSO), which added 7,575,000 shares, for a whopping 42.6% increase in outstanding shares. Among the largest underlying components of SSO, in morning trading today 3M Company (MMM) is up about 0.1%, and Abbott Labs (ABT) is lower by about 0.7%.
