Tuesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: HAP
ETF Channel Staff - Tuesday, October 23, 11:31 AMThe RVE Hard Assets Producers ETF (HAP) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 60,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 30,000. Shares of HAP were off about 1.6% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were Freeport-mcmoran Copper & GO (FCX), trading down about 3.6% with over 4.6 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Nexen (NXY), off about 0.1% on volume of over 4.6 million shares. Carpenter Technology (CRS) is the component faring the best Tuesday, up by about 0.7% on the day, while First Solar (FSLR) is lagging other components of the RVE Hard Assets Producers ETF, trading lower by about 4.9%.
