Thursday's ETF Movers: KOL, REMX
ETF Channel Staff - Thursday, October 11, 11:56 AMIn trading on Thursday, the Coal ETF (KOL) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2.2% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Alpha Natural Resources (ANR), up about 7.1% and shares of Arch Coal (ACI), up about 6.6% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the Rare Earth/Strategic Metals ETF (REMX), down about 0.2% in Thursday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Thursday were shares of Quest Rare Min J (QRM.CA), lower by about 1.5%, and shares of 5N Plus (VNP.CA), lower by about 0.5% on the day.
