XLF, EMLP: Big ETF Inflows
ETF Channel Staff - Monday, July 16, 12:13 PMLooking today at week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest inflow was seen in the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF), which added 7,450,000 shares, or a 1.7% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of XLF, in morning trading today Wells Fargo & Company (WFC) is up about 1%, and Berkshire Hathaway Class B (BRK.B) is lower by about 0.2%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest increase in inflows was the First Trust North American Energy Infrastructure Fund (EMLP), which added 150,000 shares, for a whopping 42.3% increase in outstanding shares. Among the largest underlying components of EMLP, in morning trading today Kinder Morgan Management (KMR) is up about 0.2%, and Enbridge Energy Management L (EEQ) is up by about 0.1%.
