Tuesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: GWL
ETF Channel Staff - Tuesday, July 24, 2:27 PMThe SPDR S&P World ex-US ETF (GWL) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 230,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 123,000. Shares of GWL were off about 0.7% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were Nexen (NXY.CA), trading up about 1% with over 11.2 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Talisman Energy (TLM.CA), up about 2.3% on volume of over 3.7 million shares. Rogers Comm NV (RCI.B.CA) is the component faring the best Tuesday, higher by about 5.1% on the day, while Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited (FFH.CA) is lagging other components of the SPDR S&P World ex-US ETF, trading lower by about 3%.
