SHY, URTH: Big ETF Outflows
ETF Channel Staff - Friday, July 20, 12:22 PMTurning today to week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest outflow was seen in the iShares Barclays 1-3 Year Treasury Bond Fund (SHY), which shed 4,100,000 shares, or a 3.5% decrease week over week.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest outflow was the iShares MSCI World Index Fund (URTH), which lost 200,000 of its shares, for a whopping 50.0% decline in outstanding shares.
