QQQ, EMLP: Big ETF Inflows
ETF Channel Staff - Tuesday, July 24, 12:08 PMLooking today at week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest inflow was seen in the PowerShares QQQ (QQQ), which added 14,000,000 shares, or a 2.8% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of QQQ, in morning trading today Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) is off about 0.5%, and Google Incorporated Class A (GOOG) is lower by about 0.5%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest increase in inflows was the First Trust North American Energy Infrastructure Fund (EMLP), which added 650,000 shares, for a whopping 128.7% increase in outstanding shares.
