Tuesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: ICLN
ETF Channel Staff - Tuesday, October 25, 2:35 PMThe iShares S&P Global Clean Energy Index Fund ETF (ICLN) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 98,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 32,000. Shares of ICLN were down about 1.7% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were JA Solar Holdings Limited Ads (JASO), trading off about 5.3% with over 4.7 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Suntech Power Holdings Limited (STP), off about 5.3% on volume of over 2.2 million shares. Empresa Nacional DE Elctrcid (EOC) is the component faring the best Tuesday, lower by about 1.3% on the day, while Sunpower (SPWRA) is lagging other components of the iShares S&P Global Clean Energy Index Fund ETF, trading lower by about 5.7%.
