In trading on Tuesday, the First Trust NASDAQ Clean Edge Green Energy ETF (QCLN) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 4.5% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Universal Display (PANL), up about 11.4% and shares of Amtech Systems (ASYS), up about 10.8% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the Rydex S&P MidCap 400 Equal Weight ETF (EWMD), off about 3.4% in Tuesday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Tuesday were shares of HollyFrontier (HFC), lower by about 7%, and shares of Pharmaceutical Product Development Limited (PPDI), lower by about 3.3% on the day.
