Thursday's ETF with Unusual Volume: PBD
ETF Channel Staff - Thursday, August 19, 4:45 PMThe Global Clean Energy Portfolio ETF (PBD) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Thursday, with over 316,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 60,000. Shares of PBD were up about 2.8% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Thursday were Power One (PWER), trading up about 6.5% with over 3.9 million shares changing hands so far this session, and MEMC Electronic Materials (WFR), up about 2.6% on volume of over 3.8 million shares. Energy Conversion Devices (ENER) is the component faring the best Thursday, up by about 9% on the day, while Echelon (ELON) is lagging other components of the Global Clean Energy Portfolio ETF, trading up by about 0.5%.
