In trading Thursday, the Claymore Euro-Pacific LDRs ETF (EEN) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2.8% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of City Telekom (CTEL), up about 7.3% and shares of Nidec (NJ), up about 1.9% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the Claymore Global Solar Energy Index ETF (TAN), down about 3.8% in Thursday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Thursday were shares of Energy Conversion Devices (ENER), lower by about 7.5%, and shares of STR Holdings (STRI), lower by about 7% on the day.
