Regional Banks Index Fund ETF Experiencing Unusual Trading Volume
ETF Channel Staff - Thursday, August 26, 4:56 PMThe iShares Dow Jones U.S. Regional Banks Index Fund ETF (IAT) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Thursday, with over 600,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 96,000. Shares of IAT were up about 0.3% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Thursday were Regions Financial (RF), trading up about 0.1% with over 8.2 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Keycorp (KEY), up about 2.1% on volume of over 7.9 million shares. Capitol Federal Financial (CFFN) is the component faring the best Thursday, up by about 5.6% on the day, while Old National Bancorp Industries (ONB) is lagging other components of the iShares Dow Jones U.S. Regional Banks Index Fund ETF, trading relatively unchanged.
