Global Water Portfolio ETF Experiencing Unusually High Volume

The Global Water Portfolio ETF (PIO) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 144,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 61,000. Shares of PIO were up about 1.9% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Friday were Danaher (DHR), trading up about 1.3% with over 1.5 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Itt (ITT), up about 0.7% on volume of over 841,000 shares. Stantec (STN) is the component faring the best Friday, up by about 2% on the day, while American Water Works (AWK) is lagging other components of the Global Water Portfolio ETF, trading up by about 0.3%.
